Detroit News All-State — 1970s

Johnny Davis

Murray-Wright’s Johnny Davis was a Detroit News Dream Team selection in 1973. He went on to star at the University of Dayton and was a key cog in the Portland Trailblazers’ 1979 NBA title run before getting into coaching. He is the only PSL alum to become a head coach in the NBA having led both the Philadelphia 76ers and Orlando Magic. (Getty Images photo)
